Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of November 10, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. A. The bid shall include all costs for the professional installation of all playground equipment, installation materials, bonds, audits, inspections and any incidental costs for this project. B. The bid shall include all costs for removal and disposal of existing equipment, any soil, gravel, concrete, and any other material/debris resulting from demolition, disposal of any delivery packaging (crates, pallets, wrappings, etc.). C. The contractor will be responsible for removing, staging, and redistributing existing Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) surfacing and providing any extra EWF to meet the protective surfacing requirements for impact attenuation and ADA compliance requirements. D. The contractor shall provide temporary fencing for the work area for the entire duration ofthe project, not to be removed until the project has been accepted by the City's designated representative. E. The contractor is responsible for coordinating all the work performed by its subcontractors without exception. This Project requires a valid California contractors license for the following classification(s): A - General Engineering Contractor or other industry accepted contractors license for playground construction and installation. The Project must be fully completed within 180 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. There is no engineer's estimate for this project.
