Site work for a municipal facility in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Selective demolition of the existing facility including selective building demolition, site demolition, and landscape demolition. All subcontractors must ensure compliance with ADA requirements and applicable local, state, and district codes. All subcontractors bidding for the project must submit proposals by the deadline stated. Bids should be submitted to F&H Construction, Inc. via email, fax, or mail with attention to Estimating. Bids must conform to all plans, specifications, and contract documents available from F&H Construction. Material lead times for all critical materials should be estimated and included in the proposal. Compliance with Education Code §17407.5 and Public Contract Code §§2600–2603 regarding a skilled and trained workforce is required. All contractors must maintain active registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). This is a prevailing wage project. Work under carpenters and laborers trades must be performed by signatory subcontractors of the specified unions. Subcontractors will be held to the terms and conditions of the prime contract. A 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) good faith effort is required. A pre-bid job walk is scheduled at the construction site, attendance is not mandatory but recommended. All requests for information and questions must be submitted in writing to F&H Construction by the specified deadline. Contractors planning to bid are requested to submit written descriptions of intentional scope provisions two days before the bid date to help identify potential scope gaps prior to the final bid submission.
