Renovation of a mixed-use development in Grand Junction, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires Architect-Engineer (AE) services to design the renovation of a clinic space for Optometry at the VA Black Hills Health Care System. The project involves converting approximately 2,000 square feet of existing space into a functional Optometry clinic. The design must include architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, and comply with all applicable VA design standards and codes. The AE firm will be responsible for site investigation, schematic design, design development, construction documents, cost estimates, and construction period services. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Written questions pertaining to this requirement should be submitted no later than 2:00 PM. Mountain Standard Time (MST), September 12, 2025. Interested firms should submit their current SF-330, Parts I and II, to Robyn.Young2@va.gov. The SF-330s are due no later than 2:00 PM, MT, September 26, 2025. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
