Renovation of a municipal facility in Hamtramck, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade municipal facility.
Reference Number 0000397182 The City of Hamtramck is seeking to replace the fire alarm panel at Hamtramck City Hall with a new, NFPA 72 compliant, alarm panel and all new associated components. In addition to the alarm panel we are requesting a public address system and an all-hazards alerting system integrated into the alarm system. Hamtramck City Hall is located at 3401 Evaline in Hamtramck, Michigan, and houses the City's Administrative offices, 31st District Court, and the Hamtramck Police Department. The building is a three-story masonry building that is approximately 30,0000 square feet with a full basement. The building is partially sprinklered on the first floor in the prisoner holding cell area. The current alarm panel is in disrepair, and the entire system needs replacement. In addition to the fire alarm panel, we would like to integrate a public address system as well as a multi-hazard alert system into the project.
