One four-plex building, incorporating two (2) fully wheelchair accessible studio style units on the ground level and one six-plex building with studio style units. The scope of work for this RFP includes: Construction of the buildings as provided in drawings and specifications; All related Site Development; Underground water, sanitary and storm servicing; Utility connections; Soft and hard landscaping; Required coordination and approval processes with relevant Authorities Having Jurisdiction(s) and; Pedestrian and traffic connections, as relevant. The work to include confirmation of the locations of all existing utilities and make agreements with utility companies for any required relocations, upgrading, and extensions identified or required (temporary and permanent). The fully wheelchair accessible units are designed to meet CSA standard B651.18 -"Accessible Design for the Built Environment". The Contractor will be required to engage and obtain all approvals from the Municipality, Service NL, and any other Authority Having Jurisdiction (AH)), including applicable permit fees and security deposits. Municipal permits will be required for all construction and connections to municipal systems, including, but not limited to, water, sanitary, and storm.
