A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Project includes the following Work: This work includes, but is not limited to, a Base Bid including the lining and grouting of 56 sewer manholes, and the sealing of 7 sewer manhole chimneys as well as a Bid Alternate including the grouting of 55 sewer manholes, the sealing of 114 sewer manhole chimneys, testing and sealing 298 joints within sewer pipe, and cured in place lining of 670 linear feet of sewer pipe. For all contract requirements regarding funding agency notifications, funding agency requirements, bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders shall comply with State mandated Guidelines, Equal Opportunity Employment Practices, and Safety and Health Regulations. Bid security is required as outlined in Section 00200. Performance an Payment Bond in the full amount (100%) of the contract is required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject, or any part of or all Bids for any reason; to waive informalities and technicalities; and to accept the proposal which the Town deems to be in its best interest, whether or not it is the lowest cost proposal. The Town reserves the right to review the proposals and reject all proposals or take no action or elect not to select any proposal. The Town also reserves the right to cancel the RFP at any time and reissue this or a substitute RFP at a later date. In its sole discretion and without prejudice, the own will award a contract to the bidder that it feels is best suited for complete the scope of the services. The RFP does not constitute a contract or offer of employment. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
