Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sedalia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of October 9, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The proposed work includes: the construction of a 8-10' sidewalk beginning at Katy Depot continuing west along the south side of 3rd Street to a mid-block crossing at Sneed Avenue. Tasks include: Demolition, Earthwork, Grading, Storm Sewer, Concrete Sidewalk, ADA Ramps, Signage, Pavement Markings, Traffic Control, and Erosion control. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher. The City of Sedalia reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE Goal for this project is 5% Question Deadline 09/17/2025
