Renovation of a library in San Mateo, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
As of October 29, 2025, this project has been awarded. The City of San Mateo (City) is accepting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to select a qualified firm to provide specialized electrical and low-voltage system repair and retrofit services at the Main Library. All questions regarding this request for statement of qualifications (SOQ) shall be directed to Steve Wu, Facilities and Fleet Services Manager, email: swu@cityofsanmateo.org or to the City of San Mateo Public Works Facilities, 1961 Pacific Boulevard, San Mateo, CA 94403. Proposals shall be submitted by firms that have a capable and demonstrable background in the type of work described in the request for SOQ. In addition, all interested firms shall have sufficient, readily available resources in the form of trained personnel, support services, safety protocols, specialized consultants, pertinent field equipment, and financial resources to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings. Questions received after the date and time stated will not be accepted.
