The project is described as follows: work of the project includes, but is not limited to, drilling and testing of two (2) new wells. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of city of morris negotiable u.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder shall provide at least 50% of all labor required for the completion of this project The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of section 3 24 cfr part 75 The city of Morris reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Question Deadline 10/01/2025 No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening the Bids will be given consideration, will be on file in the office of the Local Public Agency and the office of the Engineer at least five days before Bids are opened. MBE (18.4%), WBE (6.9%) Work ofthe Project includes, but is not limited to, drilling and testing of (2) two new wells (Well No. 8 and Well No. 9). The project shall include the price to drill both wells. However, ifthe first well proves to be unsuitable, the Owner reserves the right to cancel the second. Time Restrictions for Performing Work: Work shall be fully substantially complete by 6/5/2026 and ready for final payment 7/17/2026.
