The City of Redwood City is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultants to develop the design, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the Redwood City Corporation Yard Reconfiguration Project at a competitive price. Specific questions concerning the RFP should be submitted via email to the RFP Coordinator, as follows. Questions should clearly identify the relevant section of the RFP related to the question being asked. Questions regarding the information contained in the RFP document must be submitted in writing, by email to: Karen Pachmayer, Contract Principal Planner, kpachmayer@redwoodcity.org All questions must be received by 3:00 p.m. PT on September 18, 2025. Receipt of questions will be acknowledged via email to the sender. City responses to all questions received by the specified time will be distributed by September 26, 2025 (one week prior to Proposal due date). Written summaries of all questions and answers will be emailed to each firm who attended the mandatory site visit (see MANDATORY SITE VISIT section above). Anonymity of the source of specific written questions will be maintained in the written responses. Anonymous responses to all questions will be posted on the City Website. A clarification addendum will be issued, if necessary. Event Site Walkthrough note: The City will not review the proposal from a firm that does not attend the mandatory site visit. A list of Consultants that attended the mandatory site visit will be posted on the City's website. The City's Corporation Yard is gated and access controlled. In order to receive access instructions, firms who anticipate or are considering attending the mandatory site visit should submit an email to the RFP Coordinator, Karen Pachmayer at kpachmayer@redwoodcity.org. Event RFP note: The sealed rate schedule shall be submitted as a separate hard copy document clearly labeled "SEALED RATE SCHEDULE FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE REDWOOD CITY CORPORATION YARD RECONFIGURATION PROJECT". The sealed rate schedule shall not be included in the electronic submittal via USB flash drive. The City reserves the right to amend this RFP in writing at any time. The City also reserves the right to cancel or reissue all or any part of the RFP at its sole discretion. If an amendment is issued, it will be provided via email to all firms that have attended the mandatory site visit. Firms will respond to the final written RFP including any exhibits, attachments, and amendments issued by the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
