The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners and the City of East Wenatchee in a mutually beneficial and coordinated effort, are soliciting proposals from qualified firms through the Municipal Research and Service Center of Washington (MRSC) Roster from interested firms for the development of two (2) TE elements, one (1) for the Greater East Wenatchee Urban Area and one (1) for the Douglas County rural area. Douglas County will assume the lead role and will be the primary point of contact for this RFQ/RFP. If interested in providing services to Douglas County, submittals shall include the firm name as listed on the MRSC website and the sealed proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, "Douglas County/City of East Wenatchee Transportation Element Update 2026" . Douglas County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
