Pre-Qualification: Yes The City of Oconomowoc is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform grading and seeding work at the proposed Forest St Dog Park, located approximately at 101 E Forest St. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security made payable to owner in an amount of 5% of bidder's maximum bid price in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check. Bidder shall be required to submit a Qualification Statement to owner with its bid. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in the full amount of the contract price. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid deadline. Bid security shall be forfeited to City of Oconomowoc if the bidder is awarded the work and fails to execute the agreement and furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. The City of Oconomowoc reserves the right to select any firm's proposal that it deems the most advantageous and serves in the best interest of the City. The City will perform vegetation clearing and burning prior to contractor grading operations. Some of the seeding work will need to occur after the fencing installation and building demolition, which will be installed by others on a separate contract. This work is anticipated to start early November 2025 and must be completed by May 15th, 2026.
