Project involves approximately 800 L.F. of temporary asphaltic concrete access road and 1,900 L.F. of urban street reconstruction, including clearing and grubbing, removals, grading, aggregate base course, asphaltic concrete pavements, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, sanitary sewer relay, water main relay, 12-inch to 42-inch storm sewer, bioretention facility, electric infrastructure, pavement markings, traffic control, erosion control and restoration. Prequalification Required: Y All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of City of Oconomowoc, and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The City of Oconomowoc reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to City of Oconomowoc at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to City of Oconomowoc equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to City of Oconomowoc as liquidated damages.
