Renovation of an educational facility in Johnstown, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Reference Number 0000397628 Bid Intent Not Available The District is seeking HVAC replacements that were outside the scope of the new Roosevelt Middle School building remodel. We have seven rooftop (7) units that need replacements at this location and are a mix of MAUs and RTUs. The units will need to be ripped and replaced with new and the old ones disposed of properly. The District prefers Lennox, Trane, or Carrier units; under no circumstances will we accept Daiken Units. Your bid will be disqualified if you list Daiken products. You will also need to coordinate with our Building Automated Systems (BAS) contractor, Rocky Mountain ATS, to implement the new units into the existing system. District staff will help coordinate the bid winner with Rocky Mountain ATS. You will be responsible for gathering the data you need for each unit, and you will need to coordinate times to meet district staff for roof access before the bid process ends. There will be a Mandatory Site Meeting where access will be provided for all parties to visit the site and see the units. You will be responsible for the appropriate permits with the Town of Johnstown, you will be responsible for the electrical disconnect and reconnect of the new HVAC units, and you will be responsible for the Crane contractor and pick plans. All these items will need to be reflected in your bid. Questions can be submitted via email and will go out to all bidders to see. We will not be providing maps, location, type, dates of units, or serial numbers, measurements, or information about the unit; that is your responsibility to gather. Questions regarding any of the items listed in your responsibility will go unanswered. Please include in your bid your earliest install dates with equipment lead times. Further discussion will happen with the bid winner and the district on the installation dates. This will be District to contractor payment and coordination, with no construction or owners' representatives on this project. The district encourages you to read through all the documents and descriptions to be considered for this project. Please provide references and similar jobs you have performed in the last three (3) years so the district can contact them. Your Scope should match closely with the following, although not an all-inclusive list: 1. De-energize Units and disconnect power, controls, and gas lines. 2. Recover refrigerant per EPA guidelines before removal. 3. Coordinate with crane, electrical, and balancing contractors to remove existing Units. 4. Provide and install a new unit and curb adaptor, and re-pipe the gas connection. 5. Electricians will replace the unit disconnect. 6. Startup and verify proper operation. 7. Air balancers to adjust airflow to meet specifications (Independent NEBB Certified) 8. Provide Training to District Staff 9. Final coordination and implementation of units into the BAS.
