Reference Number 0000398149 The Work to be performed under this Project generally includes: The supply and installation of approximately 7,770 lineal feet of 12-inch PVC C900 DR-14, 8-inch PVC C900 DR-14, and 6-inch PVC C900 DR-14 waterlines and appurtenances along WCR 54 and WCR 13, to complete the relocation of the existing 12-inch DIP waterline, 8-inch AC waterline, 6-inch AC waterline, and 2-inch PVC waterline. The supply and installation by horizontal directional boring of approximately 425 lineal feet of 2-inch CTS Polyethylene DR-9 (casing pipe) and 3/4-inch CTS Polyethylene DR-9 (carrier pipe) waterline and appurtenances along WCR 54 and WCR 13, to complete the relocation of the existing water services for District customers. The supply and installation by horizontal directional bore of approximately 330 lineal feet of 30-inch HDPE C906 DR-11 (casing pipe) and 330 lineal feet of 16-inch HDPE C906 DR-9 (carrier pipe), to complete the crossing of the Consolidated Hillsboro Ditch. The supply and installation by boring of approximately 230 lineal feet of 24-inch steel casing with 3/8-inch wall thickness (casing pipe) and 12-inch PVC C900 DR-14 waterline (carrier pipe) to complete the WCR 54 and WCR 13 roadway crossings. Complete abandonment, removal, and disposal of the existing 12-inch DIP, 8-inch AC, 6-inch AC, and 2-inch PVC waterlines. All other labor, materials, supervision, traffic control, restoration and revegetation, materials testing, equipment, tools, pipe bedding material, concrete for thrust blocking, and all other additional items including permits necessary to complete the Work in substantial conformity with the Plans and Specifications. The primary location of the work is located in Larimer County and Weld County at the intersection of WCR 54 (E CR 18) and WCR 13 (S County Line Road). All work related to the proposed waterlines must be completed, and the waterlines placed in service no later than December 31, 2025. This defines substantial completion. The required removal of the existing waterlines from the County rights of way will occur after the December 31, 2025 substantial completion date, after Weld County closes the intersection and removes the existing pavement and subgrade. The schedule for removal of the existing waterlines will be coordinated with Weld County and their selected contractor, but generally will occur during a 3-week window in March. As such, all existing waterline removals must be completed by March 31, 2026. This defines final completion.
