Renovation of an educational facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
VOR Second Stage Competitive Process for General Contractor Project specific details can be found in the appendices identified in Section A summary of the scope of work is as follows: Remove existing door and frame from C115, C116 and C140. Remove existing concrete block to accommodate new door & window frames. Relocate existing electrical, life safety and controls as indicated. Install new frames and glazing for doors and windows. Install access control infrastructure (conduit, backboxes, etc.) Contractor to coordinate with Security Supplier to ensure access control infrastructure is correctly installed. Security Supplier to supply and install security items (card readers, door contacts, access controllers, rex sensors). Security Supplier is Power Access Corporation, Gord Garbutt - 905- 929-4119. Specific programing of access control schedules can we coordinated between Queen's and Power Access Corporation at time of install Deadline for Contractor Questions August 28th 2025 by 4:00pm EST. Deadline for Issuing Addenda: September 11th 2025 by 4:00pm EST Start Work On-Site January 6th 2026 (based on 12 week lead times, actual start TBD) Substantial Completion March 17th 2026
