A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Description The City and Borough of Sitka (CBS) is soliciting Proposals from qualified Design-Build (DB) Teams to design and construct the Granite Creek Quarry Bridge Replacement. Question Deadline 10/08/2025 at 5:00 PM AKT Questions can be directed to Loren Gehring, CBS Project Manager, at publicworks@cityofsitka.org SCOPE OF SERVICES The Design-Builder shall provide through itself or subcontractors all investigative inspections, conditions assessment, engineering and design, environmental document preparations and approvals, required permitting, cost estimating, project scheduling, inspection including special inspections, testing including laboratory testing, necessary supervision, labor, material, equipment, machinery, start-up, commissioning, temporary utilities, other temporary facilities, warranty services, necessary to complete the design and construction of the Project consistent with, or reasonably inferable from the Contract Documents. The services are anticipated to be in two phases in accordance with Article 1.4 of the Design-Build Agreement. Phase 1 Preliminary Stage: Study and Report services; drafting of Preliminary Technical Documents; Environmental Document preparation; and Construction Planning services (including preparation of proposed Completion Stage Price). Phase 2 Completion Stage: Preparation of Construction Drawings and Construction Specifications, based on the Preliminary Technical Documents; Construction; Start-up, Testing, and Commissioning; and Correction Phase services.
