The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is requesting quotations for forklift and manlift preventive maintenance and as-needed repair services in accordance to the LBPUD needs and/or fund availability. Currently LBPUD has standup forklifts, sit down forklifts, and manlifts. The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, parts, equipment, and labor necessary to provide forklift and manlift preventive maintenance and as-needed repair services. Allow Electronic Quote: Yes Informal Bid Flag: No The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is requesting quotations for forklift and manlift preventive maintenance and as-needed repair services in accordance to the LBPUD needs and/or fund availability. Currently LBPUD has standup forklifts, sit down forklifts, and manlifts. The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, parts, equipment, and labor necessary to provide forklift and manlift preventive maintenance and as-needed repair services. Bidder shall be within a 70-mile radius of LBPUD. If no bidders meet this proximity requirement, the nearest Bidder meeting this requirement may be considered. Repairs shall be requested on an as-needed basis. Forklift and manlift preventive maintenance will be completed semi-annually. Preventive maintenance and as-needed repairs shall be conducted at LBPUD Operations Service Center, and/or at LBPUD Treatment Plant, and/or at LBPUD Gas Facility. If preventive maintenance or repair is unable to be conducted at LBPUD Operations Service Center, LBPUD Treatment Plant, or LBPUD Gas Facility. Awarded Contractor must provide in writing a description of maintenance/repair and where it is to be completed. All preventive maintenance and as-needed repairs shall adhere to and comply with OSHA standards. Bidders must be licensed and certified for forklift and manlift preventive maintenance and repairs by the State of California to provide services as described. Proof of licensing and certification will be required before a contract can be issued. If additional LBPUD forklifts and/or manlifts are added, then said Preventive Maintenance and/or as-needed repair service shall be added at a price that is mutually agreed on by LBPUD and Contractor.
