Cleanup of the Property and Full Demolition of an Unsafe Structure located at 84 Cedar Street, Hurley, NY (Tax Parcel 38.10-3-18). Any questions or requests for clarifications with regard to this Request for Proposal should be sent to: Clerk's Office Town of Hurley PO Box 569 Hurley, NY 12443 clerk@townofhurley.org The selected contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: A. Site Cleanup o Remove all unlicensed vehicles from the property. o Remove debris, garbage bags, fallen branches, appliances, fixtures, and other detritus. o Remove siding (must be performed by a certified asbestos abatement contractor). o Remove overhead wires back to the utility pole. B. Building Demolition o Demolish the structure in its entirety, including the foundation. o Cap water and waste lines; install demarcation stakes to indicate their locations. o Fill the foundation area with inert material such as #1 stone. C. Post-Work Documentation o Provide dump receipts for all waste disposal. o Provide air monitoring reports related to asbestos abatement. RFP-2 Additional Requirements o Insurance certificates must name the Town of Hurley as an additional insured. o Permit fee for the project is $250.
