UBC Properties Trust, on behalf of the University of British Columbia, invites Expressions of Interest for Owner's Architectural Services for the new UBC Okanagan Recreation Facility. The selected architect will develop a complete Statement of Requirements to support the procurement of a Design-Build team via RFP, and act as the Owner's Advisor under CCDC 14 throughout design and construction. The UBC Okanagan Recreation Facility is a major student- and community-driven project that will address the critical shortfall of indoor recreational space on campus and in the region. The new facility will provide approximately 2,833 gross square metres (30,500 gross square feet) of high-quality recreation space. Key features include a two-court gymnasium, group fitness studios, and inclusive change facilities and supporting spaces.
