The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Tree removal; (b) Clearing & Grubbing; (c) Chain link fence, piles and gate removals; (d) Removal of tennis nets, posts and piles; (e) Excavation & Grading; (f) Supply & install geogrid/geotextile composite; (g) Supply & install of subsurface drainage; (h) Supply & install crushed limestone sub-base and base material; (i) Supply & Installation of Asphalt Pathways and Sport Courts c/w Acrylic Sport Court Surfacing and lines; (j) Supply & Install of granular pathway; (k) Supply & Installation of Pickleball Posts and Net Assemblies; (l) Supply & Installation of Basketball Posts, Backboards and Rims; (m) Supply & Installation of site furniture; and (n) Supply & Installation of Topsoil and Sod. If the Contract Price exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), the Contractor shall provide and maintain contract security until the expiration of the warranty period in the form of: (a) a performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and (b) labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. (c) an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a bank or other financial institution registered to conduct business in Manitoba and drawn on a branch located in Winnipeg, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; or (d) a certified cheque or draft payable to "The City of Winnipeg", drawn on a bank or other financial institution registered to conduct business in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
