Renovation of a municipal facility in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The consultant shall conduct a comprehensive site investigation and design for the replacement of air conditioning equipment containing R 22 refrigerant as well as associated control systems, piping, electrical connection, and other components as required to ensure compatibility with the new equipment. Equipment is identified as 4 split AC units with equipment numbers GOC01163-25-059-000001, 4,5 & 6 and 3 heat pumps with equipment numbers GOC01163-25-414-000008, 9 &10. The consultant shall ensure that design complies with applicable codes and regulations. TIMELINE: RFP for design has closed; award results are currently unreleased. Preliminary budget estimates are less than $250,000. Project may be followed once approved to bid. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
