The Scope of Work Includes Construction Services to Remodel the Restroom Buildings at Camp Lane Park in Walton Oregon. Lane County is seeking offers from qualified contractors to provide construction services to remodel the restroom buildings at Camp Lane Park in Walton Oregon. Improvements will be made to both the west and east shower buildings. Improvements include the construction of a new accessible shower, replacement of existing water pipes in the showers, and new privacy partitions. There are two shower buildings in the campgroup, East Shower Building and West Shower Building that will be improved in this project. Each existing building is approximately 675 sf. The date of original construction is not known. The building structure is concrete slab with thickened edge, CMU walls, and wood framed roof structure with metal roofing, concrete slabs at rooms and wood decking at circulation between room, CMU load bearing walls, wood framed roofing, and asphalt roof shingles installed over original wood shingles. The project goal is to upgrade the existing shower room, provide new single-occupant shower area, and replace existing water piping. Generally, the improvements include select demolition, minor concrete slab repair, wall framing, tile, plumbing, HVAC and minor electrical improvements. Construction of a new accessible shower within the east and west buildings. Improvements include new walls and partitions for visual privacy, new flooring to reduce the floor slope to less than 2%, and a fiberglass transfer-seat style shower unit. These improvements will displace the existing light fixtures. New LED light fixtures will be installed to replace the existing units. Replace existing water pipes in the showers. The existing exposed water piping to the showers is beyond its useful life span and failing. The improvements include new piping and shower heads.
