Site work for a water / sewer project in Sour Lake, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of November 07, 2025, project was awarded to Eastex Utility Construction, awarded amount is $1,389,487.90. This contract provides for the installation of approximately 17,790 linear feet of new 12-inch PVC C900 water line OR 14-inch (12.9" I.D) HDPE DIPS DR-13.5, including but not limited to, all applicable water valves, fittings, and connections to the City's existing water distribution system, and all improvements necessary for a complete installation, per technical specifications in the contract documents. 1. Mobilization; 2. Furnish and construct approximately 15,828 LF of 12" PVC C900 Class 150 or 14" (12.9" I.D) HDPE DIPS DR-13.5 water line and related fittings by open cut, boring, or directional drilling; 3. Furnish and construct 1,962 LF of 14" (12.9" I.D) HDPE DIPS DR-13.5 water line by Directional Drilling in locations specified in Construction Plans 4. Furnish and construct water service connections, including all necessary appurtenances; 5. Furnish and install six (6) Air Release Valve with manhole assemblies; 6. Clean up; Question Deadline 09/19/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
