Installation of two parallel 6-strand single mode fiber optic runs connecting the upper Individual Distribution Frame (IDF) to the lower IDF. The fiber runs will extend from the WSU corner to the basement to support USDA, ARS operations. Period of performance: Finish within 90 business days after award, including material order lead time, Safety and Infection Control review and approval. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, supplies, equipment and services and perform the work set forth within this Statement of Work listed below: 2. USDA Tree Fruit Research Lab Building: I. On each floor provide and install two (2) 6-strand single-mode fiber. The pathway from the upper IDF to the lower IDF (IT closet) is approximate 750 linear feet and the distances between floors are approximate 50 linear feet. II. This is an estimation and should not be used for purchasing materials. contractor is responsible to measure the exact distance during the job site visit. 3. Fiber enclosure in each IDF: I. Furnish and install two (2) 6-strand single-mode fiber from upper Individual Distribution Frame (IDF) to lower Individual Distribution Frame (IDF). II. Fiber Type: Single-mode fiber compliant with ANSI/TIA-568.3-D and ANSI/TIA492CAAC standards. III. Furnish and install rack mounted fiber enclosures compliant with TIA-568.3-D standards. IV. Furnish and install single mode fiber adapter plates compliant with IEC 61754-20 standards. V. Furnish and install fusion splice LC/APC connectors compliant with ANSI/TIA568.3-D standards. VI. Furnish labor to certify and test each fiber strand compliance with ANSI/TIA-455 and IEC 61300 standards.
