Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Kearney, Nebraska. Working plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and 18,800-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The owner has selected a Construction Manager at Risk, but the construction start date was not yet been estabished. The City of Kearney is requesting Request for Proposals from Construction Managers at Risk for the City of Kearney, Kearney Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) Fire Station #3. The scope of the Project is for the design and construction of the new City of Kearney KVFD Fire Station #3 (18,800 gross square feet) to include new construction distributed across a primarily single-story, slab-on-grade structure, along with site improvements as outlined in the RFP to be located at 1307 East 48th Street in Kearney, Nebraska. The City of Kearney reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive irregularities or informalities to accept the Proposal it deems most beneficial. The site may be visited at any time prior to the submission of Qualifications and Bids. The site is accessible and open and therefore an appointment for a visit is not necessary.
