**As of December 03, 2025, the project was awarded to The Georgia Asphalt Producers, with an awarded amount of $341,860.16** Work to Be Done: Necessary to construct the project titled FY2025 LRA - Milling, Patching, Leveling, Overlay, and Stripping of The Beach Highway. In general, the project consists of milling approaches on ends of all three (3) bridges; milling and deep patching various areas marked on The Beach Highway; cleaning the bridge decks and drainage basins & piping of all debris (grass, brush, soil; etc.) for the three (3) bridges; re-compaction of the approach areas; paving of the approach area; leveling of the roadway; overlay of the roadway, stripping and installation of new signage. Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor and must be fully insured and bonded. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the Contractor's license number. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements. Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing, latest edition. The Owner: reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom the owner believes would not be in the best interest of the project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the owner.
