The City of Nicholls is seeking qualified environmental professionals with current training from an EPA-accredited training provider to conduct a hazardous material survey at the Nicholls Gymnasium located at 201 North Liberty Street, Nicholls, GA 31554. Bids and all required forms shall be submitted through the online DFS Procurement Portal at dfs.bonfirehub.com no later than November 30th, 2025 at 2:00 PM, local time (EST). The due date for questions regarding the scope of work has been extended to December 8th, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. EST Overview: Firm shall investigate the City of Nicholls Gymnasium located at 201 N. Liberty St., Nicholls, Georgia 31554 (31.516480, -82.635755) identified for demolition, identify and document all friable and Class I and Class Il non-friable asbestos containing material and all suspected hazardous waste, collect any physical sampling of materials that may be present at the project site, quantify the amounts of those materials, and recommend methods for their proper removal and disposal. Survey Report: A Survey Report shall be emailed to ga-nicholls@erassist.com for the property within six (6) days of inspection and shall contain all information required for completing the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Renovation/Abatement Project Notification Photographs of the property, sampling locations, and suspected asbestos containing material and/or hazardous waste shall be submitted with the Survey Report. The actual removal and disposal of said materials is not a part of this Contract and shall be undertaken by one or more Abatement/Demolition Contractors.
