Site work for a water / sewer project in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The firm selected will complete a rehabilitation plan to include the stormwater drainage system servicing both Fairmont watersheds. However, construction plans and specifications will be completed for the Southeast Watershed only. This is the optimal strategy based on time constraints in place for this project. The selected engineering firm will need to commit to this accelerated timeline by implementing all best practices in assisting the Township in meeting the project substantial completion date of September 30, 2026. (100% completion and release of retained funds per tentative construction contract can occur after 9/30/2026 and prior to 10/30/2026-no invoices will be paid submitted after this date).
