Renovation of a military facility in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Under this requirement, the contractor shall provide non-personal construction services to spray closed-cell insulation on the walls and ceilings of four cable buildings at the Lockport Lock. These buildings are located on the upper end of the lock around the 600-foot mark, with two on the land wall side--the Upper Left Service Gate (ULSG) and Upper Left Emergency Gate (ULEG)--and two on the river wall side--the Upper Right Service Gate (URSG) and Upper Right Emergency Gate (UREG). The contractor must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations throughout the performance of work. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 120 calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
