Renovation of a swimming pool in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade swimming pool.
The scope of work includes the Chaney Pool Renovation project, which is divided into two bid packages: the Slide Package, which involves adding a second water slide to the existing slide tower and modifying the chemical feed system; and the Pool Liner Package, which involves providing a new pool liner to the existing painted pools. Instructions to bidders require that all proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked separately on the outside with "Chaney Pool Renovation project" and the bid package name, addressed to Pete Hall, Director of Facilities, Projects, & Planning at the Lockport Township Park District office. Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and certified payroll requirements apply. A 10% bid bond and 100% performance & payment bonds will be required. All bids must remain firm for 60 days after the bid opening. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or portions thereof.
