Renovation of an educational facility in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids will be accepted for the renovation of Lockport Township High School Central Campus located at 1222 S. Jefferson Street, Lockport, Illinois 60441. The project scope of work consists of one Bid Package: BP#1 - Electrical. Bids shall be accompanied by either an acceptable Certified or Cashier's check or a Bid Bond with a Best's Rating of A / VIII or better, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid and all Alternates, made payable to the Owner. The successful Bidder for the project will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the sum equal to the amount of the Work, with sureties having a Best's Rating of A- or better. The successful Bidder shall be required to pay the prevailing wage rate published by the Illinois Department of Labor for Will County and as adopted by Lockport Township High School District 205. The Instructions to Bidders contained in the specifications for the project are by this reference made a part thereof, and all bidders shall be deemed advised of the provisions thereof, and of the General Conditions of the contract, specifications, plans and drawings for the project.
