The Borough of Chambersburg is accepting sealed bids for: BOROUGH OF CHAMBERSBURG WATER MAIN EXTENSION PROJECT Question Deadline 10/02/2025 Any questions or requests for interpretation of any provision of the Bidding Documents or the Project shall be made to Lance Anderson, landerson@chambersburgpa.gov prior to or during the Mandatory Pre- Bid Meeting or least five (5) days prior to the submission deadline. The Town Council intends to award a contract to the overall lowest responsible bidder as determined by Town Council to be in the best interest of the Borough of Chambersburg. This project is being funded in part with a grant through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Commonwealth Financing Authority. All applicable funding program requirements, as further detailed in the bidding documents, apply. Contractors are reminded that a good faith effort be made to solicit MBE/WBE subcontractors. A Proposal Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidders maximum bid price is required to be accompanied with a Bid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be required from the Successful Bidder. A non-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. o The Contract will be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Determination established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
