Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The Work includes all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to furnish and install approximately 100 lineal feet of 18-inch diameter and 3,200 lineal feet of 21-inch diameter PVC gravity sewer, installation/replacement of 16 manholes, installation/replacement of a precast meter chamber, replacement and/or reconnection of associated sewer laterals, and other miscellaneous work shown on the Drawings and as specified. The Project is being funded in part with a loan through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) and is subject to applicable provisions of the Federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA), as amended and supplemented. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within fifteen (15) days of receiving a Notice of Award letter. Bidders can utilize the PennBid Program without any initial or recurring costs. A fee of 0.33% of the total work awarded, capped at $6,000, is assessed only to the bidder who is awarded the project.
