Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
As of November 20, 2025, bids received were rejected. Sealed bids are requested for the Recreation Department Entry Door Replacement. Specifications may be obtained from the Secretary of the Borough of Chambersburg, Recreation Department. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Borough. A Proposal Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidder's maximum bid price must accompany the bid. An anti-collusion affidavit is required. The contract is subject to Federal Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates as established by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Question Deadline 10/31/2025 Any questions or requests for interpretation of any provision of the Bidding Documents or Specifications shall be made in writing and directed to Rodney Clark, Maintenance Supervisor, Parks and Recreation Department, Telephone: 717-261-3275, Email: rclark@chambersburgpa.gov; at least five (5) days prior to the submission deadline.
