Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % A certified check or bank draft, on a responsible, solvent bank, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a recognized Colorado licensed Surety Company, payable to the Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, shall be submitted with each bid as security that the Bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract in accordance with this notice, and give bond as hereinafter provided. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the bid or proposal. The Pre-bid conference will include a tour of the site of the work. All interested parties are recommended to attend. The Town of Snowmass Village, Colorado, will receive sealed bids for the Lot 13 Retaining Wall Replacement Project at time, at the: Town of Snowmass Village Town Hall 130 Kearns Road, Snowmass Village, Colorado, 81615 at which time and place all bids will be opened privately. When Bids are opened publicly they will read aloud, and an abstract of the amounts of the base Bids and major alternates (if any) will be made available after the opening of Bids. When Bids are opened privately, an abstract of the same information will be made available to Bidders within seven days after the date of Bid opening. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids, without the consent of the Town, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled Bid Opening. The Town in its sole and absolute discretion, may reject any or all Bids or cancel and withdraw this IFB or the Project at any time or for any reason, and may, in its sole and absolute discretion, waive any non-­conformance or non­-compliance with the requirements specified in this IFB.
