The Town of Antigonish is inviting proposals from qualified contractors for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer mains using trenchless technology through Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP). The project will involve approximately 700 metres (10 MH Sections) of sewer pipe running between James Street and West Street. The successful contractor will be responsible for providing complete construction services, including all labour, materials, supervision, equipment, and incidentals necessary to clean, prepare, rehabilitate, and return the sewer mains to service. The Town requires contractors with demonstrated experience and capacity to deliver the project. Proponents must show at least five years experience installing CIPP lines and at least three successfully completed projects of comparable scope and size. The CIPP product must have a minimum ten-year history of successful municipal use. Key supervisor staff must have at least five years of direct experience overseeing CIPP installation. Proponents must also provide independent test results verifying the structural performance of the product. Reference must be included for comparable municipal projects, and the Town reserves the right to contact past clients to confirm performance.
