Renovation of a power facility in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The Grid Modernization Project includes the construction of a new 138kV-25kV Substation 124C near the Antigonish Walmart and construction of new 25kV distribution circuits to interconnect Town of Antigonish's existing distribution system with the new substation and additions to existing distribution lines. The scope of work is described in the Specification No. 050-006-01-25 document included with the tender which consists of electrical equipment installations mainly including the following components: o Brackets o Hardware o Cable connectors o Cable Lugs and bolting hardware o Cable supports, banding o Conduit and fittings The specification document referencing the scope of work includes more details associated with the total scope of work.
