The project or work consists of furnishing all labor, material and equipment for the installation of two hrsd-supplied refurbished dewatering centrifuges at the james river treatment plant (jrtp), all ancillary equipment and components, and modifications to existing facilities. In addition, a new electrical room will be constructed within the existing centrifuge building to house electrical equipment and create a conditioned space. Modifications to existing facilities include, but are not limited to, removal of existing centrifuge no. 2 to be salvaged by the owner, removal and installation of existing centrifuge no.1 which is to be refurbished by owner, centrate conveyance modifications, plant drain system modifications, nonpotable water system modifications, and related civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation work at jrtp. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted electronically with each bid. All bidders must be registered in advance of submitting a bid.
