Site work for a water / sewer project in Lakeport, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Lakeport is accepting sealed bids for Green Ranch Well Development. Drill three test borings allowing for continuous lithologic sample collection. Develop one boring to a temporary test well with 10-inch diameter casing, perform a discharge rate test, then at the direction of the City, all test well material shall be removed and all three borings destroyed. Background The project is located in Lake County on accessor parcel number 005-027-950-000. The parcel is owned by the City of Lakeport and is accessed via Green Ranch Road. The project site is approximately 7.5 acres and includes two existing City-owned groundwater production wells and a solar array; the remainder of the project site is flat, undeveloped land. Roads to the project site are unpaved and there is no fencing. There are three proposed test boring locations on the project site. One of the test borings will be converted to a temporary test well to perform aquifer testing and verify production at that location.
