Summary The purpose of this ITB is to secure a qualified General Contractor licensed in the State of Florida to perform renovations to the existing Police Station records and digital tech unit located at 1230 S Nob Hill Rd, Davie, FL 33324 . The services shall encompass furnishing adequate and appropriate labor, machines, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, insurance, permits, and incidentals. The sign in sheet will be available up until the commencement of the pre-bid conference. Bidders are required to sign in PRIOR to the start of the conference. No one will be permitted to sign in after the meeting starts. Failure to do so will deem the bidder absent to the pre-bid conference and ineligible to respond to this solicitation. Question Submission Deadline:October 7, 2025, 5:00pm Bid open - Bid responses will be publicly opened and firm names read aloud at Temporary Town Hall Building D, located at 8800 SW 36th Street Davie, FL 33328. A. This project consists of completing upgrades to the PD Digital Tech Unit to include electrical upgrades, removing old electrical equipment and installing new equipment, removal of existing cubicle panels, portions of existing walls, and partitions, and installing new doors, fixtures, new electrical conduits to accommodate the new layout, and relocating the exit signs, fire sprinkler system, and lighting to match new layout. The work includes all necessary prep/leveling work required to grout existing slab for a smooth concrete floor finish below the existing transformers prior to installation of the new transformers. Please refer to Construction Documents for all specifications, Exhibit B. B. Pricing shall be priced at unit cost, as listed in the bid form, to include all labor, machines, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, insurance, and incidentals. Note that bid form line items may not include a detailed list of all necessary work and incidentals required to complete the project. Bidder(s) shall become familiar with the scope of work/specifications and design drawings. Bidder(s) shall be responsible for ensuring that the cost of all necessary work, to include incidentals, required in the scope of work and the design drawings are accounted for within the bid form submitted in response to this solicitation. No change orders will be issued for any work already specified in this bid to include incidentals required to complete the project. C. The Town specifically reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid, to increase or decrease the quantity to meet additional or reduced requirements of the Town, without such change affecting the contract unit price set forth in the bid form by the bidder. D. It is the intent of the Town to award a single contractor based on the lowest responsive responsible bidder.
