Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Union, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Summary of Work A. The project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following work: 1. Development SC019-001: Reroofing with new fiberglass shingles, replacement of existing siding with new vinyl siding, lead-paint abatement, new manufactured stone below existing windows, new front porches, new porch light fixtures and sidewalks as per plans and specifications for eight buildings. Each prime bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Bid Bonds and Performance and Payment Bonds must be secured by a guaranty, or a surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and shall be within the maximum amount specified for such company in said Circular 570. The "Bid Bond" and the "Performance and Payment Bond" must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be listed in U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. The Contract will be subject to the "Section 3" Clause, see Document 00 72 00, calling for utilization of low-income businesses and individuals from the project area where fesible. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
