As of October 21, 2025, Project will be rebid in Spring 2026 The project will generally consist of the following: Installation of a precast concrete meter pit, flow meter, hydrant, valves, ductile iron piping, construction of a small wood framed building, site work, and restoration. The proposed Water Meter Pit is located at 98 Sherrod Hill Road, Edinboro, PA. Each Bid must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Cashier s Check, or Bid Bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price in accordance with provisions contained in the Instructions to Bidders section of the specifications. Proposal Security shall be made payable to the Water Authority of Edinboro. Contractors must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Determinations, as specified in the Contract Documents. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications for bidders prior to awarding the contract. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after date of opening. The Water Authority of Edinboro reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to accept or reject any item or combination of items contained in any Bid and to waive any irregularities in conjunction therewith. Q/A :- All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to only those parties recorded by Engineer as having purchased a full set of the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
