The Fayette Varick Fire District is seeking sealed bids for the replacement of the current HVAC system at its facility. The scope of work includes the replacement of existing HVAC equipment, including the removal of the old units and installation of new heating and cooling systems to service various areas of the building. Please carefully review the specifications and submit your bid in accordance with the requirements outlined below. Project Overview: Current System Configuration: 2 heating and cooling units connected to one thermostat, covering: Kitchen: 35 feet x 21 feet Dining Hall: 40 feet x 40 feet A single unit with two thermostats serving One Thermostat covering Conference Room: 24 feet x 20 feet One Thermostat covering Offices (2): 12 feet x 10 feet Bathroom: 12 feet x 10 feet Hallway: 28 feet x 5 feet Vestibule: 24 feet x 14 feet Scope of Work: Remove Existing HVAC Equipment: Removal and proper disposal of 4 furnaces and 4 condensers currently in place. Installation of New HVAC Equipment: Replacement of the current units with a new system that meets the heating and cooling needs of the areas listed above. Ensure the new system is energy- efficient, meets local codes, and complies with current standards for comfort and environmental considerations. System Configuration: Configuration of thermostats for proper zoned control for each area as outlined in the specifications. Additional Requirements: Respondents must be licensed and insured in the State of New York. Respondents must certify that all workers will be paid the prevailing wage as required by New York State law. Provide a detailed breakdown of costs, including labor, materials, and any other charges.
