The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is requesting the services of qualified consultant(s) to perform engineering and affiliated services for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) which may include variable speed limits, truck parking information management systems, fiber network expansions, deep subsurface probes, queue warning systems, bridge ice warning systems, weigh in motion, and automated traffic recorders. The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is requesting the services of qualified consultant(s) to perform engineering and affiliated services for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) which may include variable speed limits, truck parking information management systems, fiber network expansions, deep subsurface probes, queue warning systems, bridge ice warning systems, weigh in motion, and automated traffic recorders. Contracts will be developed and executed for projects as individual cost-plus fixed fee contracts requiring monthly billings. The contract total maximum dollar amount per contract to be awarded is $400,000 and shall not exceed $500,000 after supplement agreement. This maximum contract cost is applicable to all individual contracts awarded through this IDIQ selection. Contracts that do not meet these cost thresholds will be procured using a project specific RFP, interview, and qualification-based selection. Breaking projects into smaller phases to circumvent the stated thresholds or adding additional work with a new project is prohibited. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
