Site work for a water / sewer project in Mahomet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work consists of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining of existing sanitary sewers, specifically approximately 417 linear feet of 10" diameter and 3,315 linear feet of 8" diameter pipes. The project also includes pre- and post-lining television inspection and cleaning of existing sanitary and storm sewers, sanitary service lines reinstatement, sewer bypass pumping, traffic control, and sewer cleaning. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be on a unit price basis. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the maximum proposal. Bidders must comply with wage rates established by the Illinois Department of Labor, the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Illinois Preference Act, and the provisions of the Fair Employment Practices Act and the "Illinois Workers on Public Works Act." Bidders will also be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informalities, and to accept any proposal deemed most favorable to the owner's interests.
