Site work for a water / sewer project in Mahomet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of CCTV inspection of existing sanitary sewers (approximately 26,419 linear feet of 8-inch diameter and 3,031 linear feet of 12-inch diameter), sewer cleaning, root removal and chemical root treatment, removal of minerals and deposits from existing sanitary sewers, removal of protruding taps, traffic control, and mobilization/demobilization. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be on a unit price basis. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check equivalent to 5% of the maximum proposal. The contractor must pay not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents and ensure non-discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The project falls under the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act regarding employment on public works. Bidders must comply with federal and state employment practices and submit all required documents as indicated in the specifications and contract documents. Question Deadline 10/14/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for the opening of Bids may not be answered
