As of December 15, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 18, 2025. This Work shall consist of preparing, submitting, implementing and maintaining an in-stream work plan (Work Plan) detailing the means, methods, and schedule for completing channel excavation, ROCK TOE, rock substrate areas, and riprap in the dry and to avoid or minimize the discharge of pollutants into the stream channel. Furnish all labor and materials to stabilize the streambank at Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve. Proposals must be addressed to the Board of Commissioners, Champaign County Forest Preserve District, enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and Streambank Stabilization clearly marked on the outside. Bidders shall not include State of Illinois sales tax amounts in their bids. The successful bidder must furnish a Certificate of Insurance naming the Champaign County Forest Preserve District as Co-Insured and a Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount. Contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws and regulations, including those related to discrimination, prevailing wage, apprenticeship initiatives, safety, drug-free workplace, bid rigging, human rights, preferential employment of Illinois labor, and equal opportunity employment. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any, part of any, or all proposals, to waive any informality or irregularity in the proposals or process, and to accept any proposals deemed most favorable.
