Site work for a water / sewer project in Camilla, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
**As of November 26th, 2025, this project has been awarded.** The project consists of testing pumping of the existing well, demolishing existing discharge piping and valves, installation of new discharge piping and valves, pump modifications, installation of a SCADA system, and electrical and control components with appurtenances for a complete installation. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The project is expected to be funded in whole or in part by GEFA and City of Camilla funds, and the contract will be subject to specific requirements including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Davis Bacon & Related Act requirements, as well as American Iron and Steel Special Conditions for Federally Assisted State Revolving Loan Fund Construction Contracts. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including those that are nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional, or if the owner believes the bid or bidder does not meet the required standards or criteria. Question Deadline 10/23/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
