The project involves the construction of a new modular office building. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: cash, a cashier's check, a certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bidder's bond executed by an approved surety insurer, made payable to the County of Maui in the manner, form, and amount required in Section 103D-323 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. The proposal guaranty shall be equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total of the bid submitted. Bidders shall be licensed in accordance to Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of Contractors. Bidders must be qualified in compliance with Section 103D-310 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes.
